盎兄子種為常侍騎，持節夾乘，說盎曰：「君與鬬，廷辱之，使其毀不用。」 Ang's nephew Zhong served as an Attendant Cavalry officer who rode beside the imperial carriage bearing a tally. He advised Ang, 'Pick a fight with him and humiliate him at court, so that his slanders lose their sting.'

徙為吳相，辭行，種謂盎曰：「吳王驕日久，國多姦。 He was transferred to serve as Chancellor of Wu. When he took his leave to depart, Zhong said to Ang, 'The King of Wu has been arrogant for years, and his kingdom is rife with sedition.

盎用種之計，吳王厚遇盎。 Ang followed Zhong's advice, and the King of Wu treated him well.
