己亥，以北院大王耶律室魯為北院樞密使，封韓王，北院郎君耶律世良為北院大王，前三司使劉慎行參知政事兼知南院樞密使事。 On jihai day Northern Chancellery Great King Yelü Shilu was appointed Northern Privy Commissioner and enfeoffed King of Han; Northern Chancellery langjun Yelü Shiliang was made Northern Chancellery Great King; and former Three Departments commissioner Liu Shenxing was appointed associate administrative affairs commissioner and concurrent Southern Privy Commissioner.

乙卯，韓王耶律室魯薨。 On yimao day King of Han Yelü Shilu died.

時北院大王耶律室魯以俸羊多闕，部人貧乏，請以羸老之羊及皮毛易南中之絹，上下為便。 At that time Yelü Shilu, grandee of the Northern Chancellery, reported that stipend sheep were chronically short and his tribesmen were impoverished; he asked to exchange old or weak sheep and hides for southern silk, which met with approval at every level.

耶律室魯 Yelü Shilu

耶律室魯，字乙辛隱，六院部人。 Yelü Shilu, whose style was Yixin Yin, came from the Six Courts tribe.

拜北院樞密使，封韓王。 He was appointed commissioner of the Northern Chancellery and enfeoffed as Prince of Han.

自韓德讓知北院，職多廢曠，室魯拜命之日，朝野相慶。 Ever since Han Derang had overseen the Northern Chancellery, many of its duties had lapsed; when Shilu took office, the court and the realm rejoiced together.

室魯拜樞密使，朝野相慶，必有得民心者。 When Shilu was appointed commissioner, court and countryside rejoiced together; he must surely have won the people's hearts.
