又封其弟智明為高陽郡公，智才為開封縣公。 His younger brothers Zhiming and Zhicai were also enfeoffed, as Duke of Gaoyang and Duke of Kaifeng respectively.

煬帝即位，滕王綸、衛王集並以讒構得罪，高陽公智明亦以交遊奪爵，智積逾懼。 When Emperor Yang came to the throne, Prince of Teng Lun and Prince of Wei Ji were both convicted on charges of slanderous plotting; Duke of Gaoyang Zhiming likewise lost his title for improper associations, and Zhiji grew ever more fearful.
