初，章宗誅鄭王永蹈、趙王永中，久，頗悔之。 At first Zhangzong had put Prince of Zheng Yongtao and Prince of Zhao Yongzhong to death; in time he came to regret it deeply.

及永中、永蹈之誅，由是疏忌宗室，遂以王傅府尉檢制王家，苛部嚴密，門戶出入皆有籍。 After Yongzhong and Yongtao were killed, he grew wary of the clan and turned the princes' tutors and household officers into overseers—rules were tight, and every coming and going at the gates was logged.
