初在縉雲山，太極真人徐君降之曰：「汝年出八十，當為王者師，然後得道也。」 While he was still on Mount Jinyun, the Perfected Man of the Grand Ultimate, Lord Xu, appeared to him and said: "When you pass eighty, you will become a king's teacher, and only then will you attain the Way."

則謂門人曰：「吾今年八十一，王來召我，徐君之旨，信而有徵。」 Xu Ze told his disciples: "I am eighty-one this year, and the Prince has summoned me; Lord Xu's prophecy has proved true."
