明、武時，曆隴州刺史、禦正大夫、小司馬。 Under Emperors Ming and Wu he served in succession as governor of Longzhou, grand master for rectification, and junior vice minister of war.

明帝時，為內侍上士，累遷儀同三司，拜武州刺史。 Under Emperor Ming he was senior attendant of the inner service, rose to grand master with equal honor to the three excellencies, and was made governor of Wuzhou.
