武皇之起雲中，殺段文楚，朝議罪之，命加兵於我，懼，將逃歸，天子詔巡使王處存夜圍親仁坊捕克讓。 When Li Keyong rose in Yunzhong and killed Duan Wenchu, the court condemned him and ordered troops sent against the clan. Fearing arrest, he prepared to flee north, and the emperor ordered the commissioner Wang Chucun to surround Qinren Ward by night and capture Ke Rang.

乾符中，為雲州牙校，事防禦使段文楚。 During the Qianfu reign he was a guard officer at Yunzhou under Defense Commissioner Duan Wenchu.

會文楚稍削軍人儲給，戍兵谘怨。 Wenchu had recently reduced the troops' stored provisions, and the garrison soldiers grumbled in anger.

君立與薛鐵山、程懷信、王行審、李存璋等謀曰：「段公懦人，難與共事。 Junli plotted with Xue Tieshan, Cheng Huaixin, Wang Xingshen, Li Cunzhang, and others. "Lord Duan is a coward," they said. "We cannot serve under him.

比及雲州，眾且萬人，師營鬥雞台，城中械文楚以應武皇之軍。 By the time they reached Yunzhou they numbered nearly ten thousand. The army camped at the Cockfighting Terrace, and the city seized Wenchu in bonds to welcome the Martial Emperor's forces.
