時豫章王叔英不奉法度，逼取人馬，憲依事劾奏，叔英由是坐免黜，自是朝野皆嚴憚焉。 At the time Prince Shuying of Yuzhang ignored the law and forcibly seized men and horses. Xian impeached him on the facts, leading to Shuying's dismissal and demotion; from then on, court and country alike stood in awe of Xian.
