太祖奄至，駐蹕城南，彥宗與左企弓等奉表降。 The Jin founder arrived without warning and made camp south of the city; Yanzong joined Zuo Qigong and others in presenting a formal surrender.

初，太祖定燕京，始用漢官宰相賞左企弓等，置中書省、樞密院于廣寧府，而朝廷宰相自用女直官號。 When Taizu first secured Yanjing he began appointing Han officials such as Zuo Qigong as grand chancellors and set up the Secretariat and Bureau of Military Affairs at Guangning, while the central court still used Jurchen titles for its chancellors.
