命左丞宗憲召元，宗憲與元俱去，上益怒，是時戶部尚書宗禮在側，使之跪，手殺之。 He ordered Left Vice Director Zongxian to fetch Yuan; Zongxian left with him, and the emperor’s wrath only mounted. Minister of Revenue Zongli stood nearby—the emperor forced him to his knees and killed him himself.
