太和九年，京師訛言鄭註為帝治丹，剔小兒肝心用之。 In Taihe year nine the capital rumored that Zheng Zhu brewed elixir for the emperor by cutting out children's livers and hearts.

帝不悅，註亦內不安，而雅與虞卿有怨，即約李訓奏言：「語出虞卿家，因京兆騶伍布都下。」 The emperor was angered; Zhu, ill at ease and hostile to Yuqing, with Li Xun claimed: "The tale began in Yuqing's household and was spread by Jingzhao runners throughout the capital."
