郡民趙潁曾為樂陵太守，八十致事歸。 A commandery man, Zhao Ying, had been administrator of Leling; at eighty he retired home.

潁恃年老，苦請，遂便為留，仍致於聽事梁上，竟不剖。 Ying, relying on his age, pressed hard; Qiong finally kept them and hung them on a beam in the reception hall without ever cutting them.

人遂競貢新果，至門，聞知潁瓜猶在，相顧而去。 People then vied to offer fresh fruit; at the gate, learning Ying's melons were still there, they looked at one another and left.
