高祖父難，為清河太守，有惠政，遂家焉，清河後改為平原，故為平原人也。 His great-grandfather Nan had been prefect of Qinghe; his fair rule made the family settle there. Qinghe was later renamed Pingyuan, so they counted as men of Pingyuan.
