Early in Tianhui, Zongwang, Prince of Song, marched against Zhang Jue at Pingzhou. Learning that more than ten thousand men from Yingzhou were marching to his aid, he sent Alubu and Alidai to intercept them; they took several thousand heads and returned.

天會初，宋王宗望討張覺于平州，聞應州有兵萬餘來援，遣阿魯補與阿裏帶迎擊之，斬馘數千而還。 Early in Tianhui, Zongwang, Prince of Song, marched against Zhang Jue at Pingzhou. Learning that more than ten thousand men from Yingzhou were marching to his aid, he sent Alubu and Alidai to intercept them; they took several thousand heads and returned.

張覺為南京留守，太祖聞覺有異志，使彥宗、斜缽宣慰之。 Zhang Jue held the southern capital; when Taizu heard he was wavering in loyalty, he dispatched Yanzong and Xiebo to reassure him.

及張覺敗奔于宋，眾推張敦固為都統，殺使者，乘城拒守，攻之不肯下。 When Zhang Jue was routed and fled to Song, the garrison installed Zhang Dun'gu as commander, killed the envoys, held the walls, and refused to surrender despite repeated assaults.

其後，以平州為南京，用張覺為留守，時立愛遂去平州。 Later Pingzhou was made the Southern Capital with Zhang Jue as resident commissioner, and Liai left Pingzhou.

而張覺遂因燕京人東徙，其眾怨望，覺遂叛入于宋。 Because the people of Yanjing were being transferred east, Zhang Jue's followers grew resentful, and he rebelled and fled to Song.
