丁丑，以太常卿崔居儉為秘書監，以前蔡州刺史張繼祚為左武衛上將軍，充山陵橋道頓遞副使。 On dingchou Cui Jujian, Director of the Court of Imperial Sacrifices, was made Director of the Palace Library; Zhang Jizuo, former prefect of Cai, was made General of the Left Martial Guard and appointed deputy commissioner for imperial tomb bridges, roads, and relay stations.

世傳梁祖亂全義之家，婦女悉皆進禦，其子繼祚不勝憤恥，欲事刂刃於梁祖。 Tradition holds that the Liang Founder ravaged Quanyi's household, that all the women were taken for the palace, and that his son Jizuo, shamed beyond bearing, meant to strike the Founder down.

晉天福中，其子繼祚謀反伏誅，識者知餘殃在其子孫也。 In Later Jin's Tianfu era his son Jizuo rebelled and was executed, and observers knew the family's punishment was not yet spent.

張繼祚，故齊王全義之子也。 Zhang Jizuo was a son of the former prince of Qi, Quanyi.

明宗郊天，充供頓使，復除西衛上將軍。 When Emperor Mingzong sacrificed to Heaven at the suburbs, Jizuo served as provisioning commissioner and was again appointed general of the western guard.

始繼祚與範延光有舊，嘗遣人以馬遺之。 Jizuo had earlier been on friendly terms with Fan Yanguang and once sent him horses as a gift.

遂止誅繼祚妻子。）〉 The execution of Jizuo's wife and children was then halted.)〉

遂止罪繼祚一房，不累其族。 Punishment was thus limited to Jizuo's own household and did not extend to his wider clan.

其子繼祚憤恥不自勝，欲剚刃太祖，全義止之曰：「吾為李罕之兵圍河陽，啖木屑以為食，惟有一馬，欲殺以餉軍，死在朝夕，而梁兵擊之，得至今日，此恩不可忘也。」 His son Jizu burned with shame and reached for a knife. Quanyi caught his arm: “Hanzhi had me penned at Heyang eating sawdust. One horse left—I meant to slaughter it for the men. I was as good as dead when Liang broke the siege. Do not forget that debt.”

繼祚乃止。 Jizu laid the blade down.

子繼祚，官至上將軍。 His son Jizu rose to supreme general.

而宰相桑維翰以其父珙嘗事全義有恩，乞全活之，不許，止誅繼祚及其妻子而已。 Chancellor Sang Weihan’s father Gong had served Quanyi well; he begged mercy for the clan. Denied—but only Jizu, his wife, and children died.
