有謂述律皇后兄子名蕭翰者，為宣武軍節度使，其妹複為皇后，故後族皆以蕭為姓。 Another account says that Xiao Han, nephew of Empress Shulü and Military Commissioner of the Xuanwu Army, had a sister who also became empress; the consort clan therefore took the surname Xiao.
