初，不害之還也，周留其長子僧首，因居關中。 At first, when Buhai returned, Zhou kept his eldest son Sengshou, who therefore lived in Guanzhong.

禎明三年，京城陷，僧首來迎，不害道病卒，時年八十五。 In Zhenming year 3, when the capital fell, Sengshou came to meet him; Buhai fell ill on the road and died, aged eighty-five.
