友人武遂縣尹靈哲在軍喪亡，八龍聞即奔赴，負屍而歸，以家財殯葬，為制緦服。 When his friend Yin Lingzhe, magistrate of Wusui county, died on campaign, Balong hurried to the scene at once, carried the body home on his back, buried him at his own expense, and wore the coarsest grade of mourning.
