信阳侯阴就，光烈皇后弟也，以外戚贵盛，乃诡说五王，求钱千万，约能致丹，而别使人要劫之。 Yin Jiu, the empress's brother, boasted to the princes for ten million cash that he could deliver Dan—then had him ambushed and dragged in.

丹不得已，既至，就故为设麦饭葱叶之食。 Cornered, Jing arrived; Yin served plain wheat porridge and scallions to humiliate him.

更置盛馔，乃食。 Yin laid out a rich table; only then did Jing dine.

及就起，左右进辇。 When Yin rose, attendants wheeled up a litter.

就不得已而令去辇。 Yin had to send the litter off.
