八年，起戶部尚書，甫視事，以廣東布政使姚覲元、荊宜施道董俊漢賄結前任司員骫法，咸劾罷之。 In the eighth year he was recalled as minister of the Ministry of Revenue. As soon as he took office, he impeached and dismissed Guangdong provincial treasurer Yao Jingyuan and Jing-Yi-Shi circuit intendant Dong Junhan, who had bribed former ministry clerks to bend the law.
