興立其子泓為皇太子，大赦境內，賜男子為父後者爵一級。 He named Yao Hong heir and ennobled eldest sons.

使沒奕于權鎮上邽，中軍、廣陵公斂權鎮洛陽，姚顯及尚書令姚晃輔其太子泓，入直西宮。 He ordered Moyuyu to provisionally garrison Shanggui, the Central Army commander and Duke of Guangling Lian to garrison Luoyang, and Yao Xian and Director of the Secretariat Yao Huang to assist crown prince Hong on duty in the west palace.
