少客江南，與梁肅、楊憑遊，有文稱。 In youth he sojourned in the south, kept company with Liang Su and Yang Ping, and gained a literary reputation.

楊憑得罪斥去，無敢過其家，仲舒屢存之。 When Yang Ping was punished and expelled, no one dared visit his home; Zhongshu repeatedly called on him.
