綱，初授兵部主事，累官湖南布政使，雍正間，擢雲南巡撫，疏劾署巡撫楊名時徇隱廢弛，籓庫借支未清款項至十九萬有奇，名時坐是得罪。 Gang, first a principal clerk in the Ministry of War, rose to provincial administration commissioner of Hunan; under Yongzheng he became governor of Yunnan and impeached acting governor Yang Mingshi for covering up malfeasance and leaving more than 190,000 taels unpaid from the princely treasury; Mingshi was punished.
