疏劾戶部主事楊鴻典攬權納賄，下刑部逮治，僅以小過議鐫級，及閻敬銘為尚書，始奏劾譴黜。 He impeached Revenue director Yang Hongdian for grasping power and taking bribes. The case went to the Ministry of Justice, but Yang was only lightly demoted until Yan Jingming became minister and secured his dismissal.
