後以本路兵伐甘州，降其酋長牙懶。 Later he led the route's army against Ganzhou and forced chieftain Yalan to surrender.

既而牙懶復叛，命討之，克肅州，盡遷其民於土隗口故城。 When Yalan rebelled again, he was ordered to suppress him, captured Suzhou, and resettled the entire population in the old city at Tuweikou.
