宣宗南遷，國土日蹙，汙池數罟，往往而然。 After Xuanzong withdrew south, territory shrank daily; exhausted pools fished with net upon net became the norm.

及衛紹王之時，軍旅不息，宣宗立而南遷，死徙之餘，所在為虛矣。 During the reign of Weishao Wang, warfare never ceased; after Xuanzong's accession and southern move, death and flight left regions depopulated.

興定元年十二月，宣宗欲懸賞募人捕亡戶，而複慮騷動，遂命依已降詔書，已免債逋，更招一月，違而不來者然後捕獲治罪，而以所遺地賜人。 In the twelfth month of Xingding 1, Xuanzong wanted bounties to catch absent households but feared unrest; he ordered following prior edicts—debts forgiven, one more month to return, then capture and punish holdouts and grant their abandoned land to others.
