時有徐均者，陽春主簿也。 At that time there was Xu Jun, chief clerk of Yangchun.

均至，吏白：「應往視莫大老。」 When Jun arrived, his clerks told him, "You ought to call on the great elder Mo."

均曰：「此非王民邪？ Jun said, "Are they not subjects of the throne?

均廉得其不法事，系之獄。 Jun investigated and uncovered his crimes, then had him thrown into prison.

均不視，械送府。 Jun refused even to look at them and sent the man in chains to the prefectural seat.

均怒，欲捕治之，而府檄調均攝陽江，陽江大治。 Jun was furious and meant to arrest him, but the prefecture reassigned Jun to administer Yangjiang, where his governance was outstanding.
