將軍從弟侍中奉車都尉吳、族父左曹屯騎校尉宣皆知宏及栩丹諸侯王后親，而宣除用丹為御屬，吳與宏交通厚善，數稱薦宏。 Your cousin Ding Wu, Palace Attendant and Chief Commandant of the Convoy, and your senior clansman Ding Xuan, Left Aide and Colonel of Garrison Cavalry, both knew that Wu Hong and Xu Dan were linked by marriage to kings and queens. Yet Xuan appointed Dan to his staff, while Wu maintained close dealings with Hong and repeatedly praised and recommended him.
