鄱陽王故將侯瑱起兵，襲偽儀同于慶于豫章，慶敗走。 Hou Zhen, a former officer of the Prince of Poyang, raised troops and struck the rebel formation companion Yu Qing at Yuzhang; Qing was beaten and fled.

侯景既陷臺城，衍鄱陽王範時為合州刺史，文襄敕收以書喻之。 After Hou Jing captured Taicheng, Fan, Prince of Poyang under Xiao Yan, was serving as governor of Hezhou. Wen Xiang ordered Shou to write a letter urging him to defect.

範得書，乃率部伍西上，□州刺史崔聖念入據其城。 Fan received the letter and marched west with his troops, whereupon Governor Cui Shengnian of □ Province entered and seized his city.
