高皇帝所述書《天子所服第八》曰：「大謁者臣章受詔長樂宮，曰：『令群臣議天子所服，以安治天下。』 Gaozu’s compiled ordinances say in Imperial Dress, Section Eight: “Grand Usher Zhang received an edict at Changle Palace, which said: ‘Have the assembled ministers deliberate on what the Son of Heaven should wear, so as to settle and govern the realm.

大謁者襄章奏，制曰：『可。』」 Grand Usher Xiang Zhang submitted the proposal, and the edict said: ‘Approved.’”
