巡撫憲德薦可大用。 Governor Xiande recommended him as fit for high office.

上斥其非政要，以其疏示憲德，謂：「汝薦可大用者乃若此！」 The emperor dismissed these as peripheral to governance, showed the memorial to Xiande, and said, "This is the man you recommended for high office!"
