On the renchen day of the seventh month, was transferred. On the jihai day, Sun Jianzong: Left Deputy Censor-in-Chief. In the ninth month, he was appointed to an outer post. On the jiayin day of the tenth month, Wei Yijie: Left Deputy Censor-in-Chief.

魏裔介正月癸丑遷。傅維鱗左副都御史。 On the guichou day of the first month, Wei Yijie was transferred. Fu Weilin: Left Deputy Censor-in-Chief.

魏裔介六月解。七月甲寅霍達左副都御史。 In the sixth month, Wei Yijie was relieved of office. On the jiayin day of the seventh month, Huoda: Left Deputy Censor-in-Chief.

霍達三月庚申假。尋卒。四月己未魏裔介復爲左都御史。 On the gengshen day of the third month, Huoda went on leave. Soon died. On the jiwei day of the fourth month, Wei Yijie again became Left Censor-in-Chief.

因責左副都御史魏裔介等媕阿緘默，裔介退，具疏劾之遴植黨營私，當上詰問，但云「才疏學淺」，良心已昧； He thereupon rebuked Left Vice Censor-in-Chief Wei Yijie and others for fawning compliance and silence; Yijie withdrew and submitted a detailed memorial impeaching Zhilin for forming factions and pursuing private ends; when the emperor questioned him, he could only say "my talent is meager and my learning shallow"—his conscience was already clouded;

左都御史魏裔介劾「正宗自陳奏內不敘上諭切責，無人臣禮。 Censor-in-Chief of the Left Wei Yijie memorialized: "In his self-statement memorial Zhengzong did not recount the emperor's stern rebuke—this lacks the propriety of a minister.

正宗疏辨，略謂：「李昌祚為叛黨，裔介身為法司，何不早行糾參？ Zhengzong memorialized in his defense, stating in part: "Li Changzuo was of the rebel faction—Yijie himself was in the judiciary; why did he not memorialize against him early?

亦責裔介、振宜不早糾參，並奪官待質。 he also rebuked Yijie and Zhenyi for not memorializing early, and stripped both of office pending verification.

旋議上裔介、振宜劾正宗罪狀鞫實者十一事，罪當絞。 Shortly afterward the deliberation found eleven counts in Yijie and Zhenyi's memorial against Zhengzong substantiated by interrogation; the offense warranted strangulation.

康熙中，詔舉博學鴻儒，左都御史魏裔介、副都御史劉楗疏薦之。 During the Kangxi reign an edict summoned recommendations of learned scholars; Left Censor-in-Chief Wei Yijie and Vice Censor-in-Chief Liu Jian both memorialized in his favor.

十八年，命廷臣舉清廉吏，裔介复疏言：「振姬清操絕世，才略過人。 In the eighteenth year the court ordered officials to nominate incorrupt administrators; Yijie memorialized again: "Zhenji's integrity is unrivaled in our time, and his talent and strategic ability surpass ordinary men.
