每年春，總集大儒衛覬隆、田元鳳等講於郡學，朝吏文案之暇，悉令受書，時人指吏曹為學生屋。 Each spring he gathered great Confucians Wei Jilong, Tian Yuanfeng, and others to lecture at the commandery school; in spare moments from documents he had all court clerks study—people called the clerks' quarters the students' hall.
