無何，章宗大漸，元妃李氏、黃門李新喜、平章政事完顏匡定策。 Soon Zhangzong was near death; Yuan Consort Li, palace attendant Li Xinxhi, and Grand Councilor Wanyan Kuang fixed the succession.

章宗崩，匡等傳遣詔，立衛王。 Zhangzong died; Kuang and his party passed on the final edict and set Prince Wei on the throne.

以平章政事完顏匡為尚書令。 Participation Councillor Wanyan Kuang was appointed Minister of the Masters of Writing.

尚書令申王完顏匡薨。 Minister of the Masters of Writing Prince Shen Wanyan Kuang died.

七年，完顏匡等言：「我朝創業功臣，禮宜配祀。」 In the seventh year, Wanyan Kuang and others said: "The founding meritocrats of our dynasty ought by ritual to receive collateral sacrifice."

'平章政事鎰、左丞匡、太常博士溫蒂罕天興言：'方嶽之神各有所主，有國所賴，請禦署固宜。 Grand Councilor Yi, Left Vice Director Kuang, and Erudite of the Court of Imperial Sacrifices Wentihaan Tianxing said: "The spirits of the regional mountains each have their domain, and the state relies upon them—requesting imperial endorsement is certainly fitting."
