信亡走匈奴，與其將曼丘臣、王黃共立故趙後趙利為王，收信散兵，與匈奴共距漢。 Xin fled to the Xiongnu, and together with his generals Manqiu Chen and Wang Huang established Zhao Li, a descendant of the former Zhao, as king. They gathered Xin's scattered troops and, together with the Xiongnu, resisted Han.

代地吾所急，故封豨為列侯，以相國守代，今乃與王黃等劫掠代地！ Dai territory is what concerns me urgently, so I enfeoffed Xi as a ranked marquis and had him guard Dai as Chancellor. Now he has joined Wang Huang and others in plundering Dai territory!

豨將侯敞將萬餘人游行，王黃將騎千餘軍曲逆，張春將卒萬餘人度河攻聊城。 Xi's general Hou Chang led more than ten thousand men in roaming operations, Wang Huang led more than a thousand cavalry to camp at Quni, and Zhang Chun led more than ten thousand soldiers across the river to attack Liaocheng.

匈奴使左右賢王將萬餘騎與王黃等屯廣武以南，至晉陽，與漢兵戰，漢兵大破之，追至于離石，復破之。 The Xiongnu sent the Left and Right Wise Kings with more than ten thousand cavalry to encamp with Wang Huang and the others south of Guangwu. When they reached Jinyang and fought the Han troops, the Han troops routed them, pursued them to Lishi, and defeated them again.

（與）其與白土人曼丘臣、王黃等立趙苗裔趙利為王，復收信敗散兵，而與信及冒頓謀攻漢。 Together with Manqiu Chen and Wang Huang, men of Baitu, they set up Zhao Li, a scion of the Zhao royal house, as king. They rallied Xin's defeated and scattered troops and, together with Xin and Modu, plotted to attack Han.

匈奴仗左右賢王將萬餘騎與王黃等屯廣武以南，至晉陽，與漢兵戰，漢大破之，追至于離石，復破之。 The Xiongnu deployed their Wise Kings of the Left and Right with more than ten thousand cavalry, who joined Wang Huang's forces and encamped south of Guangwu, advancing as far as Jinyang. They engaged the Han army, but Han won a decisive victory, pursuing them to Lishi and defeating them once more.

漢十年，信令王黃等說誤陳豨。 In the tenth year of the Han dynasty, Xin had Wang Huang and others persuade and lead Chen Xi astray.

當是時，陳豨使王黃求救匈奴。 At this time, Chen Xi sent Wang Huang to request assistance from the Xiongnu.

豨恐，陰令客通使王黃、曼丘臣所。 Chen Xi grew fearful and secretly sent retainers to make contact with Wang Huang and Manqiu Chen.

九月，遂與王黃等反，自立為代王，劫略趙、代。 In the ninth month, he rebelled together with Wang Huang and the others, proclaimed himself King of Dai, and plundered the territories of Zhao and Dai.

曰：「王黃、曼丘臣，皆故賈人。」 Those present replied: 'Wang Huang and Manqiu Chen. Both are former merchants.'

乃各以千金購黃、臣等。 He then placed a bounty of a thousand catties of gold each on the heads of Wang Huang, Manqiu Chen, and the others.

十一年冬，漢兵擊斬陳豨將侯敞、王黃於曲逆下，破豨將張春於聊城，斬首萬餘。 In the winter of the eleventh year, the Han army attacked and beheaded Chen Xi's generals Hou Chang and Wang Huang below the walls of Quni, and defeated his general Zhang Chun at Liaocheng, taking more than ten thousand heads.

王黃、曼丘臣其麾下受購賞之，皆生得，以故陳豨軍遂敗。 Wang Huang and Manqiu Chen were captured alive by their own subordinates, who had been lured by the bounties. With their generals gone, Chen Xi's army collapsed.
