豫西數十州縣皆安堵，而南陽王八老虎猶嵎負。 Dozens of counties in western Henan were pacified, but Wang Balao of Nanyang still held out defiantly.

寶勝至，移書期決鬥。 When Baosheng arrived he sent a letter challenging Wang to a decisive fight.

寶勝奮身入，眾繼之，火其廬，卒就縛，置之法。 Baosheng charged in himself; his men followed, burned the camp, captured Wang, and executed him by law.
