有詔長子安嗣爵爲樂昌侯，至長樂衛尉、光祿勳。 An edict ordered that his eldest son Wang An inherit the title as Marquis of Lechang; he later rose to Commandant of the Chang'le Palace Guard and Superintendent of the Imperial Household.

至元始中，王莽為安漢公，誅不附己者，樂昌侯安見被以罪，自殺，國除。 In the Yuanshi years Wang Mang, as Duke of Anhan, purged everyone who would not bend to him. Lechang Marquis Wang An was framed, took his own life, and his marquisate was extinguished.
