使吏捕案湯左田信等，曰湯且欲為請奏，信輒先知之，居物致富，與湯分之。 They had agents seize Tang's confederate Tian Xin, charging that whenever Tang was about to memorialize a ruling, Xin learned of it in advance, cornered goods, grew rich, and split the profits with Tang.
