甲寅，世祖還自大理，澄進見，留籓府，凡遣使，必以澄偕，而以其弟山阜為交城令。 In jiayin, when Kublai returned from Dali, Cheng was summoned to audience and retained at the princely headquarters. Whenever an envoy was dispatched, Cheng went along, while his younger brother Shanfu was appointed magistrate of Jiaocheng.
