太祖義而許之。 Taizu, approving the act, allowed it.

染干聞其殺兄，率騎討之，奴真懼，徙部來奔太祖。 Ran'gan, hearing his brother had been killed, led cavalry against him; Nuzhen in alarm moved his people to seek refuge with Taizu.

太祖自迎之，遣使責止染干。 Taizu rode out to meet him and sent envoys to rebuke Ran'gan and make him stop.

奴真感恩，請奉妹充後宮，太祖納之。 Nuzhen, moved by the grace shown him, offered his younger sister to the inner palace, and Taizu took her.

後太祖討顯于馬邑，追至彌澤，大破之。 Later Taizu attacked Liu Xian at Mayi, chased him to Mize, and broke him completely.
