是時雷電晦冥，父太公往視，則見交龍於上。 At that moment, thunder crashed and darkness fell. His father, Taigong, went to investigate and saw two dragons entwined in the sky above.

九月，漢王遣將軍薛歐、王吸出武關，因王陵兵，從南陽迎太公、呂后於沛。 In the ninth month, the King of Han sent Generals Xue Ou and Wang Xi out through Wuguan to join Wang Ling's troops and proceed from Nanyang to Pei to escort the Venerable Sire and Empress Lü.
