詔京兆康王子太安為後。 An edict appointed Taian, son of Prince Kang of Jingzhao, as his heir.

太安於若為從弟，非相後之義，廢之，以齊郡王子琛繼。 Taian was Ruo's younger cousin, which did not accord with the principles of succession, so he was removed and Chen, son of the Prince of Qi Commandery, succeeded instead.
