以甘肅行省平章政事鎖南班為永昌宣慰使，總永昌軍馬，仍給平章政事俸。 Suonanban, chief minister of the Gansu branch secretariat, was appointed pacification commissioner of Yongchang with overall command of Yongchang military forces, while still receiving a chief minister's salary.

先是，永昌愚魯罷等為亂，鎖南班討平之，至是復起，故有是命。 Earlier, Yuluba and others had rebelled at Yongchang and Suonanban had suppressed them; now they had risen again, hence this appointment.
