明宗方務懷柔，乃放西川進奏官蘇願、東川軍將劉澄各歸本道，別無詔旨，隻云「兩務求安」。 Mingzong pursued conciliation, released Western Chuan memorial officer Su Yuan and Eastern Chuan officer Liu Cheng to their circuits, and issued no further orders beyond the phrase "both sides seek peace."
