皇祐元年，御崇政殿，閱知澧州、供備庫副使宋守信所獻衝陣無敵流星弩、拒馬皮竹牌、火鎌石火綱三刃、黑漆順水山字鐵甲、野戰拒馬刀弩、砦腳車、衝陣劍輪無敵車、大風翎弩箭八種。 In the first year of Huangyou (1049), the emperor reviewed at Chongzheng Hall eight weapons presented by Song Shouxin, acting prefect of Li prefecture and vice commissioner of the Equipment Reserve Bureau: the Formation-Invincible Meteor Crossbow, barricade horsehide bamboo shields, fire sickle stone fire-net triple blades, black-lacquer current-following mountain-character iron armor, field-battle barricade blades and crossbows, stockade-leg carts, Formation Sword-Wheel Invincible Carts, and Great-Wind feathered crossbow bolts.
