至正三年，御史宋秉亮相視其堰，謂渠積年坎取淤土，疊壘於岸，極為高崇，力難送土於上，因請就岸高處開通鹿巷，以便夫行。 In Zhizheng 3 censor Song Bingliang inspected the weir and reported that years of dredged silt piled on the bank had risen so high that hauling earth uphill was impractical; he asked to open deer paths along the high bank for laborers.
