解姊子負解之勢，與人飲，使之嚼。 Guo Jie's nephew, trading on his uncle's power, was once drinking with a man and tried to force him to drain his cup.

解姊怒曰：「以翁伯之義，人殺吾子，賊不得。」 Guo Jie's sister was furious and cried: "With all of Wengbo's vaunted sense of justice, someone has killed my son, yet the murderer has not been caught!"

解曰：「公殺之固當，吾兒不直。」 Guo Jie said: "You were right to kill him. My nephew was in the wrong."
