年耆禪舜，申戒文祖，云「天之歷數在爾躬」。 When he grew old, he yielded the throne to Shun and again earnestly instructed at the Wen ancestral shrine, saying, “The calendrical mandate of Heaven rests upon you.”

舜亦以命禹。 Shun likewise passed this command to Yu.
