乃授耆德州行營諸軍計會使，與判官沈亞之諭旨。 Ji was appointed commissary of the Dezhou field armies and, with aide Shen Yazhi, delivered the throne's orders.

諸將嫉耆功，比奏攢詆，文宗不獲已，貶耆循州司戶參軍、亞之南康尉。 Generals jealous of Ji's glory piled accusations; Wenzong, constrained, demoted Ji to Xunzhou army aide and Yazhi to Nan Kang aide.
