會陳留郡有大賊廢亂，上徙宣為陳留太守，盜賊禁止，吏民敬其威信。
When Chenliu was overrun by large outlaw bands, the court moved Xue Xuan there as governor; he stamped out the raiders, and officials and commoners alike deferred to his authority.
長陵大姓尚方禁少時嘗盜人妻，見斫，創著其頰。
Shangfang Jin of Changling, a powerful local, had once abducted another man's wife in his youth and been slashed across the cheek for it.
